Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

I got a flat on the way to work the other day and took my car here because it was the closest place. The hole in my tire couldn’t be patched because it was in the sidewall so obviously I had to buy a new one. I was told it would be $270, I was shocked but didn’t know how much tires are supposed to cost and agreed to the amount. They never discussed tire options or prices with me. I came back later to get my car, paid, and walked to my car to notice that the tire didn’t match any of the others, the tread was thicker and more aggressive. I sent photos of the tire and my receipt to my dad, who was a regular customer, and it appears they put ONE all terrain tire on a Hyundai Elantra and also charged me $20 for a warranty I did not ask for. I’m a single mom and went in there with my two daughters by myself, desperate for help because my morning had gone awfully and I didn’t know what to do. They took advantage and overcharged me. 0/10, do not recommend.

It is so very helpful to have a team of professionals that I can trust to tell me the truth about the repairs and maintenance that my car really needs to help keep me on the move & safe. Then it is also very helpful that the company also provides car pickup and return so that I can continue working at my job instead of just sitting and waiting for car repair. Thank you so much for being professional, considerate & helpful to me. You guys are definitely a part of my limited support system to help keep me moving & to give me a break from at least one major task in my life. Very happy.😊

I initially contacted them to fix my ac i was told it would be roughly 200 to resolve in the beginning. some how to run a diagnostic test to see if the compressor was dead or if it was a sensor turned into 404. at that point once it was determined i need a new compressor, i was then told a new one to be installed would be a total of roughly 2300 dollars i’m not sure if this is the going rate for repairing a compressor regarding the ac but i also corresponded with people who are more knowledgeable about cars and i was definitely informed I was being taken advantage of. apparently the part that’s needed is like roughly 200 and or less so basically I was being changed 2100 in labor roughly. again not sure how the diagnostic test costed 404 to run but yeah i def left there feeling like what just happened. Im not a mechanic but this was my experience, i must say they were very professional and responsive and great at communicating.

I had a great experience with Jim Whaley. They sent me a detailed report explaining exactly what was going on with my car and what needed to be done. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they kept me informed every step of the way. I dropped my car off at 8:30 a.m., and it was ready for pickup by 3:00 p.m. the same day. Fast, professional, and transparent service. Highly recommend!

My English isn't very good, so I rely on Google Translate to express my thoughts. I have visited this shop many times for vehicle maintenance; everything was consistently good—the service, the pricing—and I was very satisfied. However, my most recent visit was truly terrible. I went in to have my parking brake adjusted so that my car could hold securely on a slope. I was quoted $160.50 for the parking brake adjustment service. $160.50 is a steep price, but given my positive experiences in the past—and assuming they would need to lift the vehicle or remove the rear wheels to perform the adjustment—I agreed to the quoted price. As it turned out, all they did was tighten the parking brake cable inside the cabin—a job that took barely 10 minutes to complete—and then charged me the full $160.50. If the result had been satisfactory, I wouldn't be here writing this review. When I returned home and parked on my driveway's slope, I engaged the parking brake—pushing the pedal all the way to the floor—and shifted the transmission into Neutral; yet, the car still slowly drifted down the slope. I recorded a video demonstrating exactly what I did and showed it to the staff. They didn't believe m
